If your ancestor:

  • died in a hospital in Glasgow, Dunbartonshire, Greenock or Paisley

  • gave birth (or was born) in hospital in Glasgow, Dunbartonshire, Greenock or Paisley

  • was in hospital in Glasgow, Dunbartonshire, Greenock or Paisley on census night

  • was treated in an asylum in Glasgow, Dunbartonshire, Greenock or Paisley between 1857 and 1960

  • trained as a nurse in Glasgow, Dunbartonshire, Greenock or Paisley

 

We may have some relevant records. 

Please note that General Practitioner [GP] records are routinely destroyed three years after the patient’s death.
